Configuring Target Server

Before Chameleon can run a migration, your target Sitefinity instance needs to be properly configured. Follow these guides in order to create the right API user and register the server.

Step 1

Create a Sitefinity API Key User

Create a dedicated Sitefinity user with an API key. Required for Chameleon to authenticate against the target instance for scans and imports.

Set Target Server in Chameleon

Connect Chameleon to your target Sitefinity server using the API key created in Step 1. Once connected, the server is ready for migration runs or Excel export.
